Originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Sanaz received her law degree from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton in 2005, after completing her honours in Political Science at the University of King's College in Halifax. Though she loves Fredericton, she looked forward to returning home to do her articles and start practicing. Sanaz joined Coady Filliter in 2007. In her first year of practice, Sanaz quickly realized that her impetus for practicing law was to practice in the areas of estate planning and tax and everything those areas encompass. In addition to her work, Sanaz is actively involved in the community by serving on various boards, committees and business groups. She also actively participates in a number of professional affiliations such as the Halifax Estate Planning Council, the Halifax Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Bar Association. Sanaz always leaves room for leisure to spend with her family, close friends and her adorable, but hyper dog. She also loves to travel whenever she can, though while at home, enjoying a live concert in the city or watching European football are always favourite pastimes.
