With a natural born curiosity and analytical mind, Paul gets to the heart of the matter quickly. Whether he's advising on incorporations, business acquisitions, corporate or tax related re-organizations, insolvency, technology or employment related issues, Paul simplifies the riddles of business.

Paul is truly Canadian. Born in Halifax, he was raised in Montreal, Quebec and Oakville, Ontario, and later began his law career in Vancouver, working on behalf of one of the 'Big Five' banks. A partner with Coady Filliter since 1994, he is responsible for the Commercial and Corporate law practice. Paul has presented papers on bankruptcy and insolvency law at conferences and a paper on Family Trusts at the 1998 Atlantic Provinces Tax Seminar. He enjoys teaching and has taught Commercial Law at St. Mary's University as well as Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law at Dalhousie Law School.

An active Rotarian, Paul enjoys playing hockey, tennis, and golf and has a ham radio license.
