Kevin has practiced with Coady Filliter since 1997 and became a partner of the firm in 2002. He maintains a general civil litigation practice, assisting individual and corporate clients in the resolution of a range of personal and commercial disputes, with a particular emphasis on employment/wrongful dismissal, estate and contract matters. He also practices in the areas of personal injury and wills and estates. He has appeared before all levels of court in the province and has extensive experience assisting clients in alternate dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation and arbitration. Kevin is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, the Canadian Bar Association and the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers' Association (APTLA). He is actively involved with APTLA in advancing the rights and interests of litigants in Nova Scotia. He is an instructor with the Bar Admission Program of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society and is an active volunteer with the Parent School Association of Ecole Rockingham School. Kevin is a former coach of Triple A Atom Minor hockey and girls under 6 soccer. Kevin graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1991. Prior to entering law school, Kevin earned his Certified Management Accounting designation in l989, furthering his business and accounting background. Kevin received his Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University in 1984.
