Born and raised in Halifax, Jeff is proud to be a Haligonian;
he received his law degree from the University of New Brunswick (“UNB”)
in Fredericton in 2008. Prior to that, he'd completed his Bachelor
of Arts at Saint Mary's University in Halifax.
Jeff was eager to return to Halifax after finishing
law school and is excited to be given the opportunity to complete his
articles at Coady Filliter. Jeff looks forward to a well-rounded
set of articles and is greatly interested in the areas of litigation and
corporate/commercial.
Jeff is actively involved in the community,he has
volunteered at Nova Scotia Legal Aid and at the UNB Student Legal Information
Centre. He is an executive member of the Nova Scotia Water Ski Association,
officiates minor and elite hockey games in Nova Scotia and has operated
a Water Ski School in Nova Scotia.
A sports enthusiast, Jeff's true love is water skiing,
he has been named to the Canadian National Junior and Under 21 Water Ski
Teams and is a three-time Canadian National Water Ski Champion. Jeff also
enjoys playing hockey, downhill skiing and spending time with family and
friends.
